      Tara,
Thank you for this sweet comment. ME TOO!!!! Last year, we all had COVID. We didn’t leave the house for months. My bubble: mom (living alone), daughter Ragan (living alone and working from home), my husband, and I (working from home) had everything delivered and were so careful friends thought we were nuts, but we ALL caught it mid-November last year. Ragan was asymptomatic but Vanja and mom had it very hard. I was never sicker, but it lasted only 10 days for me. So blessed none of us were hospitalized and no clue how we caught it – but, enough said. No baking last year. No time due to last recovery (mom) Dec 23 out of bed.
Then, this year, my daughter purchased a new condo on Nov 30 and her old one is sold and possession is Dec 23. You can imagine the time it has taken to make the move and clean and get all the legalities completed within a very short timeline. I thought – this will be my year! I retired from leadership with Thermomix, got my butter tarts made in October, and then Thanksgiving weekend the condo search began and we haven’t had a moment since.
NEXT YEAR! It does not feel like the holidays without these traditions and I am so missing the process and the memories.
What did you put on your cookie platter this year? Inquiring minds would love to know!
Hugs and Merry Christmas to you!
      Valerie

Thank you. So much. I miss writing them. But, I just cannot make myself take the time to do all the work to photograph and write them anymore. I miss that old me.
BIG HUGS to you and thank you for the love. It means a lot.
      XO
