It took me about a year to finally buy a Thermomix, I really wanted, but of course it was a difficult decision because of the price.I was checking the option between Vitamix and Thermomix. Now, a year later, i’m so glad i did. A few weeks ago, I was visiting my sister in-law who bought Vitamix after i bought Thermomix, they wanted me to make my famous ice-cream, so i said ok, i’ll try with your Vitamix, and oh boy, I was sooo glad i have my Thermomix, there is no comparison, what ever they say.
Thank you Valerie for your sincere care and patience in answering the questions before i had to give up my money :). It is the best investment for my kitchen!

So interesting that you have directly compared recipes you make in the Thermomix with those made in the Vitamix. I have many clients who own both and many curious customers who own a Vitamix and ask what the Thermomix can offer that the Vitamix doesn’t. I have worked with a Vitamix, but don’t own one. It is a great little machine, but doesn’t have the capacity to do what the Thermomix does, for sure.
Thanks so much for your testimonial. I am ever so appreciative!

I purchased my Thermomix the same day as the demo I had with Valerie. The machine was fabulous. Valerie’s enthusiasm really rubbed off on me. She graciously invited myself and son to her home for the demo. She made foccacia, sweet potatoe soup and raspberry icecream! It was a great afternoon. I use my machine at least once a day, either making soup, bread dough, gravy etc. It is a great machine. Easy to maintain and is very versatile. I can’t say enough good things about it. Thanks Valerie for introducing the Thermomix to me.

After having my Thermomix for about a week, I knew I had made a wise investment. The machine, literally, does the work of 5 or more other appliances, and not only that, it cuts down the amount of time and work involved in making a dish. Valerie didn’t just sell me a machine, she was an educator, an instructor and an energizer bunny all in one. Plus, she has been available for extra guidance any time I’ve needed her. Valerie’s exuberance is genuine – you know she believes in the product, and now I understand why: I absolutely love using my Thermomix. I’ve taken my Thermomix to cooking events and shared it with professional chefs. They, too, see the value in this product.

Valerie was not only instrumental in securing a Thermomix for me when no one else could, but in teaching me how to use it! She was patient and knowledgeable, particularly when I struggled in reassembling the mixing bowl. Her instructions were clear, concise and her enthusiasm for what she does and for this product is extremely apparent. One of the most valuable things I feel I gained was her willingness to be accessible. Valerie didn’t abandon me after having gotten me the Thermomix, but was readily available to answer continuous questions as I tried it on my own. Her website is also an invaluable tool and I am extremely grateful for her support.

I LOVE the machine and what it can do and know that I only scratched the surface. As importantly, I know that along the way, be it a month or 6 months, Valerie will continue to be a source of support and I thank her for that.

While living in Australia, we had lots of friends each getting a Thermomix. We debated whether we should pursue one as my son’s allergies already forced us to not use very many prepared foods, but didn’t think it was going to happen, in part we weren’t sure it was large enough for the 6 of us in our family. A friend gifted us with a Thermomix through Valerie and it has been wonderful! The Thermomix allows for quick preparation of many foods. For us with a family of 6 there are a few things that it is not quite big enough to handle especially if we are having guests, but because it is so fast, for some we can make multiple batches.
Valerie trained us via Skype since we weren’t in the same city as she was and that went well, though we didn’t have as much yeast on hand as was required (our fault), she used her knowledge to accurately predict when our dough would be finished rising and ready to bake. The food tasted amazing and Valerie taught clearly. We have since gone on to make all sorts of tasty things. We don’t use it everyday as we still have some favorite meals that won’t (practically) adapt to the Thermomix. But as we get into the hang of making things instead of buying it already canned, we should save money and/or have a superior product without all of the preservatives and artificial ingredients.
    Thank You Valerie!
I should add we moved back to North America from Australia before we got the Thermomix. 🙂

After hearing great things about Thermomix appliance from my son who lives abroad now, I have started to do my initial research and came across Valerie’s web site. There I left my contact info in order to get even more detailed information about it, and she was very prompt to call me back. I am so glad we were able to talk great details about the machine and endless possibilities for its uses. After we hang up I couldn’t wait any more and have ordered the appliance from Valerie herself the very next day. Valerie helped me with the ordering process of the machine as well gave me good advice about which books to order with it. One of the parts was damaged during the shipping process, but Valerie worked out the the quick replacement for me. The machine works great now and my whole family is enjoying many quick and healthy meals.
Thank you Valerie for your great advice and service.

I stumbled upon this wonder machine while searching for recipes to make paneer. I reached out to Valerie and thanks to her I had my thermomix sooner than the time it took for me to convince my husband that I HAVE to have one! Yes, thermomix is not cheap by any means, but let me tell you why every kitchen should have one. I started using thermomix the next day I received it, delicious soups from scratch, 5 different kinds of breads including naan and bagels, breakfast starting from all kinds of egg dishes, oatmeal, dips and sauces are some of the few things I’ve made so far. I’m by no means a bread baker, thermomix makes me look like a pro. Food tastes heavenly and you barely have to put any effort, thermomix does all the hard work for you. All this, and I know i have not even scratched the surface of what thermomix has to offer in my culinary creations, everything in just a few minutes, think about all the savings from not having to dine out! My kids look forward to weekends when we have regularly started to have awesome tasting 5 course meals. I know I just have to reach out to Valerie for tips and tricks, after all she is an expert in Themomix. Thank you so much, Valerie, you are the best since you made all this possible ( and really sorry for taking this long to write).

I am over the moon with my new Thermomix! Working with Valerie has really been exceptional. I had been waiting a long time to buy a TM31 but didn’t know of any distributors; one evening I contacted a website and my name was referred to Valerie. Initially Valerie and I had some e-mail exchange; later we spoke on the phone so that she was able to determine my familiarity with Thermomix, discuss cookbook options, and explain various payment options to me.The payment option that seemed easiest and most cost efficient to me was a (Friends and Family) Paypal transfer to Valerie. I am not a person who trusts others easily, so before making this decision, I investigated Valerie’s presence and reputation on social media. Afterward I was convinced there was no risk at all. Valerie was marvelous at keeping me informed throughout the order and delivery tracking process. I was surprised at how quickly my machine arrived. My association with Valerie continues. Tomorrow we have a cooking lesson via skype to help me become familiar with my lovely Thermomix.

Having grown up without needing or knowing how to cook, I’ve only done what was required of me to provide nutritious meals for a family of five ( now 3 grown children). However, after receiving my new Thermomix and the excellent Skype demonstration with Valerie, I think I’m going to become an accomplished and happy cook! The demo was efficient, informative, and enjoyable and Valerie made me feel that I, even I, could make wonderful food…and I did! I have since made a number of delicious recipes and have thoroughly enjoyed each one, and happily, so have those who have shared this adventure! How could I have lived this long and only NOW am learning about this amazing invention!! Thanks, Valerie for getting me started on a whole new lease on life!!!

My wonder machine on the counter in my kitchen, I want to thank Valerie for making it possible. For two years, I was fantasizing about this superb gadget. My daughter, a sporadic cook, bought me one to play with it this Spring in Barcelona, where she lives and where I visit her quite often. But I wanted badly to have it on this side of the pond, with a proper plug, adjusted to our electric system. Valerie brought the Thermomix to my household with much care, contagious enthusiasm, thorough introduction, and most honest explanation of the cost. I do not remember ever spending so many hundreds of $ with more pleasure and satisfaction. All the Thermomix owners rave about the machine, with all due justice. I belong to this happy crowd. Yet, dealing with its seller has been an experience to be recommended. Thanks a million, Valerie, for taking such an exquisite, truly friendly care of your ever grateful customer

Picnic for Saturday! ‘My mom’s is better than Picnic for Saturday!

‘My mom’s is better than your moms!’

The quintessential summer salad that reminds me of growing up on the Alberta prairies. This salad says something had arrived, but most importantly, it says family.

Salad
-4 eggs, hard “boiled”
-5 pounds of potatoes, or so (2.3K)
-one bunch of small radishes, and if you pick them from your garden, one bunch
-one small bunch of chives
-2-3 stalks of celery
1 small onion

Dressing
-200g homemade mayonnaise
-20g Dijon mustard
-10g salt, or to taste
-5g pepper, or to taste (I like lots)

Soup for dinner! Summer Dinners are the perfect t Soup for dinner!

Summer Dinners are the perfect time to test out my creation of this homemade preserved Asparagus Soup Concentrate on the family and it was a slam dunk! It is not a fresh asparagus soup. It is a concentrate, re-constituted with added ingredients that enables a seemingly fresh homemade soup later in the year with little effort. The finished soup is a delicate blend of flavours with a more subtle asparagus note than a fresh asparagus soup would present, yet renders a compelling appeal that consistency evokes that same strong pleasurable response.

A Healthy dose of fresh! What better way to start A Healthy dose of fresh!

What better way to start your Sunday, than with a delicious toast with healthy homemade HOMEMADE Almond Milk!

The dry pulp is delicious. If you don’t mind the texture, leave it in. Many do. The above pulp is creamy and delicious. Throw it into another recipe. Don’t waste it! It is almonds and rice. Absolutely delicious. Me? I ate a little ball of it every day til it was gone. Yummy. And the Homemade Almond Milk.

Salted Caramel Ice Cream The addition of the crun Salted Caramel Ice Cream

The addition of the crunchy hand-mined fleur de sel on the top elevates the taste over the top of any salted caramel ice cream bar! As well as the silken creamy texture, it held the freeze well. The addition of the salted caramel sauce was too decadent for words. No need for words when savoring this luxurious, velvet-sweet-salty-sumptuous reprieve amid a hot summer day. M-m-m-m-m…
